Nest

Bamboo, red dirt

Collaborated with a friend who also grew up oversea. Both longing for a permanent home, we used the very form of home, a nest. Using bamboos that I am very familiar with, and red clay that my friend grew up playing with. This 14ft x14 ft work captures the nature's very home and earth in the center with strong contrast of color.
